Beggs High School Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year were announced this morning during a faculty meeting.
BHS Principal Autumn Caldwell shared the news after a short visit with 2023 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Traci Manuel.
Jeffrey With, BHS Civics/Government & English II instructor, was voted BHS Teacher of Year. With is in his first year at Beggs High School.
Amanda Terry, who has been with the district for 10 years, was voted BHS Support Staff Member of the Year.
Beggs High School faculty/staff members vote yearly for these honors.

These hard-working slowpitch softball ladies could be found cleaning up in downtown Beggs this morning. They joined a group of students from several other BHS organizations in the effort.

Varsity slow pitch with a 7-2 win over Okmulgee tonight. The Lady Demons will travel to Cushing on Thursday. The Lady Demons are led by Head Coach Danny Phillips, who coaches middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams.
Coach Tyler Blizzard meets with returning players and new prospects for the 2024 Golden Demon football teams. Blizzard will take the reins as Head Football Coach for the Golden Demons after the retirement of Coach David Tenison.
Auditions were held this week for the upcoming Beggs High School play. The play, scheduled for this spring, is a production of the drama class. BHS Instructor Kaylee Watson was pleased with the turnout of students auditioning for the production of "Climbing Fish Cafe'."
