Beggs and community, thank you for reaching out and asking how you can help it is extremely appreciated! At this time we have a restoration crew on site and engineers. They have asked for us to help keep community and others away from the scene while it is still unsafe. There will be plenty of ways to help coming up in the near future. We will stay in communication and will let everyone know what the next steps are and where the help is needed. Thank you for your willingness and kindness it is not unnoticed but we are grateful! Beggs Public Schools update

Beggs High School Business Professionals of America students attended the Oklahoma BPA State Leadership Conference Tuesday, March 3 and enjoyed the activities. Members include Zavier Duck, Tryson Tennyson, Braxton Frost, and Brody Drinnon.

Five Beggs High School students left Connors State College Thursday with medals, with two earning multiple awards in scholastic meet competition.

Senior Zavier Duck was the hardware leader with 3 medals in 3 events.

Earning top five finishes were Cecilia Arellano-Martinez (far left) 4th place in General Physical Science; Braxton Morgan, (second from left) 5th Place in English Literature; Gunner Stockton, (third from left) 5th Place in Environmental Science; and Dean Richardson, (striped shirt), 4th Place in Speech.

We are extremely proud of all of these students and appreciate our teachers who work with them each school day.

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING UPDATE: The varsity Wrestling Dual against Okemah scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday January 29th, has been cancelled. The next Wrestling Dual that will take place will be Thursday, February 5th, against Henryetta in the Old High School Gym at 6pm. Come out and support your Golden Demon Wrestlers for the 1st ever Wrestling event at Beggs!
