Big day for Beggs High School Esports! 🎮🔥 Our teams showed out today and put together an incredible performance across the board: • Marvel Rivals came through with a big win 💪 • Mario Kart secured 2 wins 🏁 • Fortnite dominated with 5 total wins 👑 Proud of the effort, teamwork, and growth we’re seeing from these players every single week. Good day Beggs family! We hope you had an amazing spring break with your kiddos! After a lot of hard work and preparation the last two weeks, we will be able to resume school Monday March 23rd. Classes will look a little different for the Middle school, so middle school parents please be sure and attend the back to school meeting Saturday March 21st in the Elementary cafeteria at 6:30. With determination, organization, and some gracious friends we were able to get enough buses to be able to run our bus routes as normal. Thank you for your support and patience during this time. We are not finished with work by any means but we are ready for students to return! Once again thank you and it’s a great day to be a Golden Demon!

Beggs and community, thank you for reaching out and asking how you can help it is extremely appreciated! At this time we have a restoration crew on site and engineers. They have asked for us to help keep community and others away from the scene while it is still unsafe. There will be plenty of ways to help coming up in the near future. We will stay in communication and will let everyone know what the next steps are and where the help is needed. Thank you for your willingness and kindness it is not unnoticed but we are grateful! It’s a great day to be a Golden Demon.

Beggs Public Schools update

Beggs High School Business Professionals of America students attended the Oklahoma BPA State Leadership Conference Tuesday, March 3 and enjoyed the activities. Members include Zavier Duck, Tryson Tennyson, Braxton Frost, and Brody Drinnon.

Five Beggs High School students left Connors State College Thursday with medals, with two earning multiple awards in scholastic meet competition.

Senior Zavier Duck was the hardware leader with 3 medals in 3 events.

Earning top five finishes were Cecilia Arellano-Martinez (far left) 4th place in General Physical Science; Braxton Morgan, (second from left) 5th Place in English Literature; Gunner Stockton, (third from left) 5th Place in Environmental Science; and Dean Richardson, (striped shirt), 4th Place in Speech.

We are extremely proud of all of these students and appreciate our teachers who work with them each school day.
