BHS softball player Addison Dossett was just named Luv Ford Athlete of the Week. It's always awesome for the players to get recognition for their dedication and hard work. She has had a great season thus far with a BA of .429 through 14 games with 10 RBI's. She is also a pitcher with a record of 8-4 and an ERA of .840
She allows less than a run a game. She is an outstanding young athlete with a bright future. Congrats, well deserved.
We have to take the time to brag about the JH softball team. We played in the Depew tournament this weekend and took 4th. We played Davenport in a close game Friday and lost 8-6. Davenport went on to win to be in the championship game. We started Saturday morning against New Lima in the loser bracket, we won 17-1. Played Drumright second and won 10-7. Cushing was next, we battled back and forth but we lost by one which would have put us in the 3rd place game. I could brag all day long but I'll sum it up, we played amazing and we're so proud of them.
Homecoming Spirit Days
Mrs. Youngblood's class has been working on leadership and teamwork skills. These ladies are learning the different types of leadership styles, characteristics and skills in order to have the knowledge to enhance their own leadership skills.
Very proud coaches tonight as both JH and High School Lady Demon Fastpitch got big wins. Congrats ladies! Keep putting in the work.

Isaiah Clay is continuing his success in Cross Country competition from last season.
He earned a medal at the first meet of the season last weekend in Oilton.
The next meet for Lady Demon and Golden Demon Cross Country will be on Thursday at Gore.

Your Lady Demons got another district win against Morris winning Big 15-3. The Demons are currently sitting 4th in districts. Next game is on Monday against Prague, another tough district game. It's at home, so come out and support your Lady Demons!
Your junior high team fell to the Eagles In a tough battle. Their next game is Tuesday against Sapulpa.

Your Lady Demon softball team played 7 games in their season opening week. The went 5-2 with a district win. They are on a 4 game winning streak. The 5 wins this week have came from shutouts. Stonewall 3-0 Kellyville 10-0 OK Union 1-0 Checotah 1-0 BTW 10-0 To say the coaches are proud of these girls is an understatement. Lady Demons are playing ball this year! Come out and support them. Their next home game is 8/26 at 5pm vs Prague another tough district game. I also want to give a shoutout to the Beggs JH TEAM they played 4 games on FRIDAY. They won a few and lost a few but the future of the Lady Demons is looking very bright. Let's GO LADY DEMONS.
