Eligibility: Open to students who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and are pursuing a degree in STEM.

NSCA Foundation Scholarships
Award: $2,000

Eligibility: Multiple scholarship awards available with vary eligibilty requirements. Generally must be current member of the NSCA and pursuing a degree in a strength and conditioning-related field.

American Trucks Student Scholarships
Award: $2,500
Deadline: October 15th
Eligibility: Application open to students who meet one of the following criteria: (1) Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited United states technical institute, 2/4 year college/university with program in construction management, secondary votech school or tuition bearing apprenticeship program in the traditional building trades (e.g. carpentry, HVAC, electrical or related fields of study). Students pursuing certificate programs or apprenticeship programs are welcome to apply. And (2) currently attending high school and will be attending an accredited school in the next academic year to one of the aforementioned programs.

Barbara A. Cooley Master’s Scholarship
Award: $1,000

Eligibility: Applicants must be a master’s level student who is currently enrolled in a health education program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Submit: Current curriculum vitae, 3 page max. essay, 2 letters of recommendation, and official transcript.
NCWIT Collegiate Award
Award: $2,500 – $10,000
Deadline: October 15th
Eligibility: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in the U.S., 18 years or older, and a NCWIT member.

Cody Cochlin Memorial Scholarship
Award: $1,250
Deadline: October 15th
Eligibility: Any low-income undergraduate student who rollerblades, rollerskates, skateboards, or snowboards may apply for this scholarship.
Submit: A video of you performing a trick you’re proud of.
Bill Kane Undergraduate Scholarship
Award: $1,000
Deadline: October 15th
Eligibility: Student must be officially recognized as an undergraduate health education major and enrolled full-time at a college or university for both the fall and spring semesters of the academic year during which the student is applying. The student must have sophomore, junior, or senior status at the time of application with a minimum GPA of 3.25.
Submit: Current resume, 400 – 450 word essay, 2 letters of recommendation, and official transcript.
Extreme Terrain’s Student Scholarships
Award: $2,500
Deadline: October 15th
Eligibility: Open to undergraduate college/university students and high school seniors who are pursuing a degree in environmental studies, ecology, land use, earth & atmospheric sciences, sustainable land management, environmental biology, sustainable agriculture systems.
Submit: 700 – 1500 word essay.
Prevounce Preventative Health Scholarship
Award: $1,000 – $1,500

Eligibility: Must be pursuing a career in healthcare and entering or already established in an accredited, U.S.-based undergraduate or graduate program in the fall of 2022
Submit: Completed application, transcripts, resume, and essay of no more than 750 words.
Innovation In Education Scholarship
Award: $500
Deadline: October 20th
Eligibility: Open to any high school or college student within the U.S. or Canada with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+
Submit: Online application, letter of recommendation, self-photo, and an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation (no min or max word/page count).
MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship Contest
Award: $1,000

Eligibility: Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or are lawfully living in the United States and at least 13 years of age on the date of their entry.

VFW Voice Of Democracy Scholarship
Award: $1,000 – $30,000
Deadline: October 31st
Eligibility: Open to all students in grade 9 – 12 enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program in the U.S. and its territories. Dependents of U.S. military or civilian personnel in overseas schools are also eligible to participate.
Submit: Completed entry form and your original 3 – 5 minute audio essay + typed essay.
Scary Stories Scholarship
Award: $1,000

Eligibility: Must be 13+ and a legal resident of the 50 U.S. or D.C.
