Hello, my name is Brevon Harper and I'm excited to join the Beggs community as an educator and coach!
Through my playing career I've been blessed to be around great coaches and mentors and I hope to pass some knowledge to the kids and soak up more knowledge from the great coaches and staff
Hard work and passion are two things that are important to me as a coach and working to be the best me I can be and ultimately the kids working to be the best young men they can be is a goal of mine!

Please stay off of high school softball and baseball fields today as scheduled maintenance is completed.

Just wanted to introduce myself to the Beggs Community.
My name is Vaughn Blankenship, and I'm excited to be the new girls’ basketball coach. I'm super excited to see the girls grow and develop as a hard-working basketball team.
I've been coaching for 20 years . I've been fortunate enough to coach in the state tournament. I've helped develop kids’ scoring skills, and that's resulted in multiple kids leading the state in scoring .
I believe that serving one another and working for the success of the team is key. I teach everyone to be a star in their role. We will work hard in the off-season and build fundamental skills to ensure success this season.
I got my master’s degree from Southern Nazarene and my bachelor’s degree from East Central University. I'll be teaching 5th grade social studies and a leadership class.
I have four children and two grandchildren. My son, Redick, will be in the 8th grade this year as well. I am committed to the profession of teaching and developing kids into future leaders .
I'm excited to be a part of the school and the community. The future is bright for these ladies .

Good day, Beggs! My name is Vicki Chaney. I will be teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) courses for the 25-26 school year. For 24 years, I have taught multiple courses offered
within the FACS department. I am excited to bring my experience and love for this subject to Beggs. I will also serve as the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) advisor which is one of the student organizations through Oklahoma Career Tech. I can’t wait to
see how FACS and FCCLA can help students at Beggs. See you in August!

"My name is Sherri Gourd and I will be teaching high school math this year. I grew up in Kansas (Go Jayhawks, Wildcats, Shockers and Chiefs!) but moved to Oklahoma 19 years ago. I have worked in education for over 25 years and my experience has taken me to many places: private elementary, public elementary, and public secondary. I have three kids, with my youngest (Samuel) being a senior this year at Beggs, and four grandkids. I am so excited to bring all that I know to the classrooms at Beggs High School and to spend my son's senior year under the same roof! Go Beggs!!!!!"

I will be starting my 24th year in education this fall, and I'm excited to begin my first year in alternative education at Beggs High School. Over the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Geography at Beggs Middle School. This year, in addition to teaching, I’ll be coaching football and track. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful community at Beggs and look forward to positively impacting the students and staff here.

🌟 Howdy Beggs! 🌟
I’m Ashley Pipkins, your new high school counselor! I recently swapped the hustle and bustle of Houston for the charm of small-town farm life, and I’m loving every minute (yes, even the early mornings chasing chickens).
I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Houston Christian University and have worked as a counselor in middle school, high school, and higher ed. So whether you’re figuring out freshman year or planning for college, I’ve got your back. My support goes beyond college readiness because I’m here to guide scholars in all areas of their lives, including social and emotional well-being.
I’m also a proud U.S. Navy veteran, which means I know all about hard work, big goals, and a little bit of tough love when needed.
When I’m not helping scholars, you can usually catch me at a rodeo with my family and friends, living my best cowgirl life, or chasing down some good food.
I can’t wait to meet all of you. Let’s make this year one to remember and have a little fun while we’re at it!

"Hello Beggs! I’m excited to be back at Beggs Public Schools! I cannot wait to contribute to the special things in store for our boys basketball program!
I previously coached at Preston for 2 years as an assistant, Beggs for 2 years as an assistant, and Twin Hills for 1 year as head coach. I was fortunate enough to win the ORES Division II State Championship with my team at Twin Hills! I hope to accomplish similar things at Beggs!
I recently graduated from Northeastern State University this May and I am teaching 8th grade math this year which I’m very passionate about and super excited to do!
I’ve been married to my beautiful wife, Caitlin, for almost 3 years and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Casley, in the world 7 months ago.
I look forward to furthering the academic and athletic prestige of Beggs!

“ I’m excited to continue my coaching career and even more excited to start molding young minds into their full potential!
We are Beggs!!”

I’m excited to begin my teaching career at Beggs Public Schools! I recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Political Science, and I couldn’t have picked a better community to start this journey.
I’ve been a proud member of the Okmulgee County community my whole life. I was the first Eagle Scout from Troop 102 and am an active member of the Knights of Columbus. At Okmulgee High School, I competed in speech and debate and was ranked among the top four in the state my senior year.
I’m passionate about education and civic engagement, which is why I chose to teach high school social studies. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and exploring new ways to learn. I also enjoy gaming and recently built a PC to help sharpen my skills as an esports coach.
I’m honored to be joining Beggs and excited for a great year with the students, staff, and families!

Robert Cash – Principal, Beggs High School
I was born and raised in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and after graduating from high school, I began my college journey at the University of Central Oklahoma. I later transferred to Northeastern State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree. While living in Ponca City, I completed my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
My teaching career began in Wichita, Kansas, at Wichita South High School. In 2000, my wife, son, and I moved back to Oklahoma, settling in Ponca City. I taught a variety of science courses at the Ponca City Alternative School and later taught 6th-grade science at Ponca City West Middle School. During my time there, I also coached wrestling and cross country, which were incredibly rewarding experiences.
In 2015, we moved back to Okmulgee County to be closer to family. I taught science at Tulsa East Central High School before joining the staff at Beggs High School later that same year. After several years of teaching science here, I was honored with the opportunity to serve as Principal.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about education and professional growth. I’ve had the privilege of presenting for the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s Alternative Education program and was also a presenter at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) national convention in Anaheim, California.
I’m proud to lead Beggs High School and look forward to continuing to support our students, staff, and community.

Heads up Lady Demon Basketball players!
