Some fans consider May 4 as Star Wars Day.
The phrase “May the 4th be with you” was used by fans in the years after the first Star Wars film was released in 1977.
The Beggs High School Drama Club took the opportunity to pay respect to the film on Sunday when the final performance of their spring musical just happened to take place on May 4.
Cast members used lightsabers and a Storm Trooper mask at times during the production. One prominent cast member even wore a Star Wars shirt in some scenes.
Stay tuned later this week for more articles on BHS Drama including a tribute to seniors, a special honor for a pair of cast members, and many more photos.

Way to go Champs!
Congratulations players and coaches.

Be Aware!

The final blood drive of the 2024–2025 school year will take place on Friday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. While the time frame is short, we’re confident we can make a big impact.
Each donation can save up to three lives—and we currently need 22 more donations to reach our next scholarship goal. By participating, you’ll be saving lives and helping us raise scholarship funds at the same time.
Walk-ins are welcome, but scheduled appointments are preferred to help us stay organized and prepared. You can schedule your appointment today at www.OBI.org or sign up in person in the high school office.
Let’s finish the year strong!

Medication Pickup Reminder
As the school year comes to an end, please remember that all medication must be picked up by an adult before 3:30 pm on the last day of school (May 8, 2025). Medication will NOT be sent home with students. Medication will not be stored over the summer. Any medication remaining after the pickup deadline will be properly destroyed according to district policy and state law. A new Medication Authorization Form will need to be filled out for each medication at the beginning of every school year in order for medication to be administered at school. Please refer to the district’s Medication Procedures if you have any questions. Medication Authorization forms are available on the district website as well as in each building office. If you have any questions, please contact District Nurse Roach at 918-475-6161 ext 507. Thank you and enjoy your summer!!!

BHS is proud of these ladies and the entire Lady Demon Slowpitch team and coaches.

Great news from FFA

The Lady Demons slow pitch season ends. As coaches we couldn't be more proud of how this season went, we won the first game against Hennessy 7-6. Lost the first game against Stroud 5-3 and went a full 7 inning the last game coming up short. We want to wish the seniors Chloe Cooper and Angel Aylor all the best in their endeavors after High school. I would also like to congratulate Abagail Harmon and Angel Aylor for winning all conference honors this season. Congrats ladies, the Lady Demons future is moving in the right Direction. We want to thank Ms. Caldwell and Coach Stanton for their constant support which never goes unseen. Let's go Demons. 14-11 over all another winning season so proud of you all.
