Prom Fundraiser Oct. 28 at Beggs High School

This team went 17-13 this year and what a year it was. We have had our ups and downs but came away with our first winning season in 3 years. As the season came to an end at regionals where these lady Demons finished runner up. They lost 5-2 on Thursday against Kansas and had to wait a day to get revenge. In Friday they jumped out to a commanding 10-0 lead over Kansas and came away with a 10-4 win. Next up was Valliant the hosting site because they won their district. Valliant is in the Silo and Tishimingo district and for those that know the high school softball world, Silo is known for having a great program. We as a team knew it was going to be a tough game. We played with them all game long and had our chances but lost 2-1 after a tough 7 inning game. This team grew tougher and more determined knowing that they were that close to winning regionals. It doesn't feel like it should be over and the girls are ready for next season already. I want to congratulate the team, parents, Admin and the coaches for an amazing season. I think the seniors can walk away with their heads held high knowing they were a big part of what is to come for the Lady Demons softball team. Look out class 3A we are coming for you in 2025. Let's go Demons! Great season! So proud of you all.

Lady Demons got another win earlier this week 7-1. With a season record of 15-11 things are looking bright. Great all around performance tonight very proud of these girls. Abagail Harmon went 3-3 tonight almost hitting for the cycle. Another great performance on the mound by Addison Dossett. Angel Aylor adding more stolen bases to her total this year including the game go ahead run to spark a great scoring inning. Lexi Tecumseh started off the game with a triple. Ruby Tenison does not get recognition enough. She has had a great season at the plate and does an amazing job at catcher. I could go through the line up telling you everything this team does well. We are playing regionals at Valliant a week from Thursday. Let's Go Demons!!!!

Beggs Demons softball finished the regular season 16-11 with a big win against Henryetta tonight 10-1. We hope to carry this into our Regional tournament next Thursday in Valliant. Please pray for a safe trip and keep this team in your thoughts. We are so proud of this team. LET'S GO LADY DEMONS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
