Members of the Beggs High School chapter of the National Honor Society are participating in various service projects this holiday season. They were happy to support a local family with a little help in providing gifts for Christmas. Look for them Saturday at the Christmas parade and ringing the Salvation Army bell next Wednesday at Okmulgee Walmart.

Coach Cantwell has her classroom door ready for the holidays and the Lady Demons are ready to begin their 2022-2023 basketball season as they travel to Newcastle on Thursday. JV action starts at 3:30 with the varsity tipping off at 5 p.m. The Golden Demons will begin their season next Tuesday when both squads host Morris.
