
Fall brings cooler temperatures on some days and more work around the Beggs Public Schools campus. Recent improvements include work on the elementary school roof, shelter for the new vehicles and restroom updates.

Yesterday was "National Teach Ag Day" and what better gift to our Ag department at Beggs Public Schools than a new ride! This new Ford was acquired through bond funding for the hard-working department. It is the first of two, with the next one scheduled to be delivered in about 3 weeks.



A young BHS Academic Team had a couple of big wins over Berryhill and Oktaha last night during conference play.
This team, consisting of all sophomores and one freshman, has a bright future. We are expecting big things from them as they learn the strategies of the competition.

Senior Jeremiah Hughes placed 7th in the Varsity 5K division at a tough Inola Cross Country Meet this week. Freshman Isaiah Clay placed 4th in the Junior Varsity 2 mile run.

A new fleet of electric school buses arrived today at Beggs Public Schools.


Officers for the Beggs High School Family, Career and Community Leaders (FCCLA) chapter are out and about today. They are attending the LEAD Conference in Glenpool. The conference is for chapter officers or aspiring chapter leaders.

Due to recent events at sporting venues, Beggs Public Schools will have additional safety and security measures in place for our school events. Safety at school has been a long-standing mission, and it will continue to be at the forefront of our minds.
Please see the attached information for our new "Spectator Procedures" which are in effect immediately. PLEASE be sure to arrive early to make it through security checkpoints. The gates will open at 5:15pm for spectators.
