BHS senior Cali Carter's first home run of the slow pitch season couldn't have come at a better time. The bomb tied yesterday's softball game at Prue 10-10 and the Lady Demons were able to score another run to secure the win at 11-10.

Beggs High School Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year were announced this morning during a faculty meeting.
BHS Principal Autumn Caldwell shared the news after a short visit with 2023 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Traci Manuel.
Jeffrey With, BHS Civics/Government & English II instructor, was voted BHS Teacher of Year. With is in his first year at Beggs High School.
Amanda Terry, who has been with the district for 10 years, was voted BHS Support Staff Member of the Year.
Beggs High School faculty/staff members vote yearly for these honors.

These hard-working slowpitch softball ladies could be found cleaning up in downtown Beggs this morning. They joined a group of students from several other BHS organizations in the effort.
The Lady Demon and Golden Demon high school golf schedules are now available on the school app. Install the Beggs Public Schools app from the App store or Google Play to keep up with all spring athletic events. New schedules are being added daily for both high school and middle school sports. After opening the app, click on SCHOOLS to choose your preferred school site, then MENU to select ATHLETICS. You will see a lists of all athletic events for the spring. You can also set preferences for the sport that your student participates in. It's Always a Great Day to Be a Beggs Demon!
