In the world of sports there are times that something happens off the field that remind players, parents, coaches, and the community the real reason why we do what we do.
Last night at Holdenville a parent from Holdenville came to our Dugout and asked to speak to the coaches.  This parent began to tell me with heartfelt gratitude of what happened on Monday night when they played at Beggs.  She told me a story of her grandfather who was In the stands watching his granddaughter play.  One of our girls walked up the bleachers  to this man who was wearing a veteran’s and thanked him for his service.  This nice lady told me that made her heart melt and meant so much to her and her family and wanted to personally thank her, the team, the coaches, the parents, and the community of Beggs for raising, teaching, and supporting Veterans.
I want to to personal thank Cali Carter for the amazing act of patriotism that was shown that night.  I personally talk to her mom and thanked her and her husband for raising a wonderful daughter. They are proud I am sure as well as the Beggs community.  From all of us we recognize and thank you Ms. Cali Carter for showing what Lady Demons Represent.  GO LADY DEMONS!!!!!!
