Hello Beggs!
I am excited to be given the opportunity to join the excellence of Beggs Public Schools. This is where I started my career 26 years ago. The Beggs community has excelled
academically and athletically in the recent past. I am thankful to be able to contribute to the success in the classroom and on the football field.
I graduated from Northeastern State University with a BA in Social Studies Education. I will be teaching Geography in the middle school and coaching football..
I have been married to my wife Christina for 30 years. We have two beautiful daughters and two
granddaughters. In my spare time I like to restore old farm equipment.

Hello Beggs,
My name is Jessica Driver this is my 3rd year at Beggs. This year I will be teaching in the middle school. I also will be assisting JH/HS fastpitch softball and Head Coach of JH/HS slow pitch softball. I am looking forward to working hard for the girls program.
In my spare time you will catch me at any sporting event with my husband Branden and our two boys Hunter and Fisher. I hope to see you all on bleachers cheering our girls on!!

Hello Beggs Family,
I am so honored and blessed to be joining such an amazing school district and community. I am starting my 22nd year in Education. I received my Bachelors in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University where I competed on both the Volleyball and Track team. After graduating from NMSU, I was a GA Volleyball Coach at South Dakota State University, earning my Masters in Sports Administration, and later added another Masters of Education in School Counseling. After spending ten years coaching and teaching at various levels around the US in the college realm, my family and I moved to Oklahoma, where we now call home. My husband and I have been married for 18 years, we have three children, 15 year old twins McKinLee and Brooks, and a 12 year old daughter KessLee. A few fun things about my family and I; we love sports, we cheer for the LSU Tigers, WSU Cougars, and SDSU Jackrabbits, and when we are not at school or on a sports field/court we are living the Disney Cruise life! My goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to build relationships with our students, staff, and community. I am a strong believer in Transparency, Visibility, and ensuring we as a school district work together to ensure we are providing the best opportunity for our students and families to be successful every day. This summer we have been working hard to ensure this school year starts off right and I look forward to meeting everyone over the coming months and look forward to a great year at Beggs Public Schools. WE ARE BEGGS!

Robert Cash – Principal, Beggs High School
I was born and raised in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and after graduating from high school, I began my college journey at the University of Central Oklahoma. I later transferred to Northeastern State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree. While living in Ponca City, I completed my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
My teaching career began in Wichita, Kansas, at Wichita South High School. In 2000, my wife, son, and I moved back to Oklahoma, settling in Ponca City. I taught a variety of science courses at the Ponca City Alternative School and later taught 6th-grade science at Ponca City West Middle School. During my time there, I also coached wrestling and cross country, which were incredibly rewarding experiences.
In 2015, we moved back to Okmulgee County to be closer to family. I taught science at Tulsa East Central High School before joining the staff at Beggs High School later that same year. After several years of teaching science here, I was honored with the opportunity to serve as Principal.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about education and professional growth. I’ve had the privilege of presenting for the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s Alternative Education program and was also a presenter at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) national convention in Anaheim, California.
I’m proud to lead Beggs High School and look forward to continuing to support our students, staff, and community.

Meet the head cheer coach for 2025-2026.

I’m heading into my 15th year in education. I graduated from Pioneer High School back in 2005 (Garfield County roots!), earned my bachelor’s from Northwestern Oklahoma State, and later picked up my master’s from Southwestern.
I’ve been married to my amazing wife Pamela since 2007. We’ve got two awesome boys — Boston, who’s a sophomore at Beggs, and little Bear, who’s 3 and keeps us on our toes.
One thing you might not know about me: our family loves road trips, especially if there’s a good food spot at the end of the drive. Always on the hunt for a hidden gem!
I’m super passionate about helping students grow — not just academically, but as people. For the 2025-26 school year, one of my goals is to help boost our students’ reading comprehension and continue building stronger connections between our school and the community.
Here’s to a great year ahead!

Congratulations Coach Shannon!

We want to acknowledge and address the concerns that have arisen within our community and express our understanding of the emotions this has stirred. We are committed to providing a supportive and respectful environment for all members of our community — students, staff, and families.
Based on the guidance of our legal counsel, we are authorized to make the following statement.
During the past school year, an employee submitted a Title IX complaint to the district. As per Board policy, the district conducted a thorough investigation, and a decision was rendered. Both the complainant and the respondent received a copy of the determination, and the complainant was notified of his/her appeal rights per Board policy. In this particular incident, the complainant elected not to file an appeal of the decision to the board of education. As a result, the determination became final.
Additionally, we want to clarify a misunderstanding as to the district's hiring practices. As part of being offered a job at the district, the applicant/new employee is required to undergo a background check performed by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. If the background check reflects a felony conviction and there is not a statutory exemption, the applicant/new employee is not hired. Also, Oklahoma law requires all of the county district attorneys to notify a school district if an employee has been convicted of a felony, and no such notification has been received regarding the employee.
We appreciate the support and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety, well-being, and respect of all who are part of the Beggs family.
