StuCo will be hosting our first blood drive of the year next Wednesday, September 24th from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. OBI will provide snacks, and they are bringing a therapy dog to the drive. All donors will receive a free t-shirt. If you donate at least 6 times before you graduate, you will be given an honor cord to wear to graduation.

A group of Beggs High School students and sponsors spent their Monday morning in downtown Beggs for a good cause.
Students representing Business Professionals of America, BHS Drama, BHS Student Council, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society and BHS Academic Team picked up trash around the downtown area.

Academic Bowl competition began last night for Beggs High School's academic teams. Beggs plays in a county league at Morris for competition this season. Four rounds are played each night of competition in a quiz bowl format.
Team A won 3 of 4 matches last night, only losing one round by sudden death when regulation play ended in a tie.
Team B, featuring two freshman and a new player, won 2 of 4 matches for the night.
Coach Stacey Horton is looking forward to a great season with these outstanding students.
