Beggs Elementary students were greeted this morning by senior members of the Golden Demon Football Team and senior BHS cheerleaders.

Thanks so much to the Beggs Public Schools Cafeteria Staff for the delicious breakfast kicking off Day 2 of professional development activities.

JASON SPORT   I will be starting my 24th year in education this fall, and I'm excited to begin my first year in alternative education at Beggs High School. Over the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Geography at Beggs Middle School. This year, in addition to teaching, I’ll be coaching football and track. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful community at Beggs and look forward to positively impacting the students and staff here.  

🌟 Howdy Beggs! 🌟 I’m Ashley Pipkins, your new high school counselor! I recently swapped the hustle and bustle of Houston for the charm of small-town farm life, and I’m loving every minute (yes, even the early mornings chasing chickens). I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Houston Christian University and have worked as a counselor in middle school, high school, and higher ed. So whether you’re figuring out freshman year or planning for college, I’ve got your back. My support goes beyond college readiness because I’m here to guide scholars in all areas of their lives, including social and emotional well-being. I’m also a proud U.S. Navy veteran, which means I know all about hard work, big goals, and a little bit of tough love when needed. When I’m not helping scholars, you can usually catch me at a rodeo with my family and friends, living my best cowgirl life, or chasing down some good food. I can’t wait to meet all of you. Let’s make this year one to remember and have a little fun while we’re at it!

"Hello Beggs! I’m excited to be back at Beggs Public Schools! I cannot wait to contribute to the special things in store for our boys basketball program! I previously coached at Preston for 2 years as an assistant, Beggs for 2 years as an assistant, and Twin Hills for 1 year as head coach. I was fortunate enough to win the ORES Division II State Championship with my team at Twin Hills! I hope to accomplish similar things at Beggs! I recently graduated from Northeastern State University this May and I am teaching 8th grade math this year which I’m very passionate about and super excited to do! I’ve been married to my beautiful wife, Caitlin, for almost 3 years and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Casley, in the world 7 months ago. I look forward to furthering the academic and athletic prestige of Beggs!

MERCEDIES ANDERSON PRE-K Hi Beggs community, I would love to introduce myself; my name is Mercedies Anderson. I recently graduated from Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology. I was born and raised a true Okie and graduated from Bristow High School in 2008. I have an amazing husband, Tyler, we just celebrated our second year of marriage. I have three children, who keep me busy. Two sons, Kenton (11), Kyson (5) and daughter Sutton (1). As a family we enjoy traveling, both weekend trips to ride side-by-sides, or even trips to the ocean, our family loves to reset with quality time and new experiences. I am extremely enthusiastic about Early Childhood Education, as it is the building blocks for each child’s academic career. Fostering a love for learning is important to me, as a teacher and parent. Traditionally, the Beggs Pre-K Teacher chooses an animal to represent their classroom, for this upcoming year, our classroom will be the Duck room. Meaning: Discovering Unique Creative Kids. I look forward to an exciting year as a part of the Beggs Pre-K program.

PATRICIA HILL 3RD GRADE My name is Trish Hill, and I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, James, for almost 33 years. We have one grown son that lives and works in Tulsa. We live on the outskirts of town in Muskogee where we have multiple cats and dogs (that think they’re human), a horse, two donkeys, one rooster, and a bunch of hens. In fact, we just became the happy parents of 11 baby chicks last week! I’ve been privileged to be an elementary educator for the past twenty years, and I’m so excited to become a new member of the Beggs Public Schools family! I just know this is going to be a wonderful new chapter in my life! I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.

HAILEY KASH 3RD GRADE My name is Hailey Kash. I am from Quinton Oklahoma. I am married to my best friend. We have four beautiful children. Bo, Alyssa, Aspynn and Daxey. I am so excited to become part of the Beggs family. We have been members of Beggs First Assembly for the past couple of years. My passion is teaching young minds and watching them grow. This will be my first year teaching, and what better grade to start out with than 3rd grade! I can’t wait to meet my students and their families.
