Earth Day is Monday, April 22nd! 🌎 3rd graders learned all about why and how plants grow flowers through the pollination process and about pollinators. 🐝🦋 We also went down to the Wetlands and picked up 2 trash bags worth of litter & got to enjoy some nature time. Way to go 3rd graders! 💛🖤

Thank you all for getting your BES students to school! We all have worked hard on improving our chronic absenteeism on our school report card! Chronic absenteeism is down this year, but we have 6 weeks of school left and we need it not increase so let's finish strong BES and show up to school every day! This year we have 125 students who have missed 3 or less days of school the whole year! This is double from last year!! WOW!!!! THANK YOU!!!

It's our last week of our Read-a-thon! The last day to donate is April 5. Thank you all for supporting our fundraiser! We use the funds generated for classroom/teacher supplies throughout the year. We also purchase costumes for the musicals and classroom chairs. We use the funds to buy anything our students and teachers need! We couldn't do it without your generous donations! As of today our students have read over 76,000 minutes! Go BES!!
