Lady Demons Softball kicked off practice this morning and will play their first scrimmage next week. The Lady Demons are led by new Head Coach Cody Pair, who will be assisted by Jess Driver and Jeff Souders.

Kelli Baker Counselor My name is Kelli Baker and I am excited to start a new journey in Beggs as your elementary school counselor. My family recently moved into Beggs and we are excited for what the future holds. I have been married to my husband Robert for nearly 19 years. We have 2 sons, Bobby and Bowen. Bobby will be a senior this year and Bowen will be in 7th grade at Beggs. My family loves to travel when we are not chasing the boys sports schedules. I completed my master’s degree of education in school counseling at Southeastern Oklahoma State and my bachelor’s degree at Northeastern Oklahoma State. This past spring, I became a certified AutPlay provider as well as completed my (SB-RPT) school based registered play therapy credential. My passion is delivering support to students and families in fun and innovative ways, while building strong relationships. I am so excited for this new journey and look forward to a fun and memorable year!

"Hello Beggs! I’m excited to be back at Beggs Public Schools! I cannot wait to contribute to the special things in store for our boys basketball program! I previously coached at Preston for 2 years as an assistant, Beggs for 2 years as an assistant, and Twin Hills for 1 year as head coach. I was fortunate enough to win the ORES Division II State Championship with my team at Twin Hills! I hope to accomplish similar things at Beggs! I recently graduated from Northeastern State University this May and I am teaching 8th grade math this year which I’m very passionate about and super excited to do! I’ve been married to my beautiful wife, Caitlin, for almost 3 years and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Casley, in the world 7 months ago. I look forward to furthering the academic and athletic prestige of Beggs!

MERCEDIES ANDERSON PRE-K Hi Beggs community, I would love to introduce myself; my name is Mercedies Anderson. I recently graduated from Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology. I was born and raised a true Okie and graduated from Bristow High School in 2008. I have an amazing husband, Tyler, we just celebrated our second year of marriage. I have three children, who keep me busy. Two sons, Kenton (11), Kyson (5) and daughter Sutton (1). As a family we enjoy traveling, both weekend trips to ride side-by-sides, or even trips to the ocean, our family loves to reset with quality time and new experiences. I am extremely enthusiastic about Early Childhood Education, as it is the building blocks for each child’s academic career. Fostering a love for learning is important to me, as a teacher and parent. Traditionally, the Beggs Pre-K Teacher chooses an animal to represent their classroom, for this upcoming year, our classroom will be the Duck room. Meaning: Discovering Unique Creative Kids. I look forward to an exciting year as a part of the Beggs Pre-K program.

PATRICIA HILL 3RD GRADE My name is Trish Hill, and I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, James, for almost 33 years. We have one grown son that lives and works in Tulsa. We live on the outskirts of town in Muskogee where we have multiple cats and dogs (that think they’re human), a horse, two donkeys, one rooster, and a bunch of hens. In fact, we just became the happy parents of 11 baby chicks last week! I’ve been privileged to be an elementary educator for the past twenty years, and I’m so excited to become a new member of the Beggs Public Schools family! I just know this is going to be a wonderful new chapter in my life! I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.

HAILEY KASH 3RD GRADE My name is Hailey Kash. I am from Quinton Oklahoma. I am married to my best friend. We have four beautiful children. Bo, Alyssa, Aspynn and Daxey. I am so excited to become part of the Beggs family. We have been members of Beggs First Assembly for the past couple of years. My passion is teaching young minds and watching them grow. This will be my first year teaching, and what better grade to start out with than 3rd grade! I can’t wait to meet my students and their families.

AMBER PAIR KINDERGARTEN I’ve been teaching for 16 years, and I’ve had the joy of teaching kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I’ve also been a reading interventionist. Teaching reading is my absolute favorite — I love watching my students grow into confident readers! When I’m not at school, you’ll most likely find me at a baseball field, cheering on my sons as they play or supporting my husband as he coaches. I’m really looking forward to starting this new chapter at Beggs Public Schools!

Hello Beggs Family, I am so honored and blessed to be joining such an amazing school district and community. I am starting my 22nd year in Education. I received my Bachelors in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University where I competed on both the Volleyball and Track team. After graduating from NMSU, I was a GA Volleyball Coach at South Dakota State University, earning my Masters in Sports Administration, and later added another Masters of Education in School Counseling. After spending ten years coaching and teaching at various levels around the US in the college realm, my family and I moved to Oklahoma, where we now call home. My husband and I have been married for 18 years, we have three children, 15 year old twins McKinLee and Brooks, and a 12 year old daughter KessLee. A few fun things about my family and I; we love sports, we cheer for the LSU Tigers, WSU Cougars, and SDSU Jackrabbits, and when we are not at school or on a sports field/court we are living the Disney Cruise life! My goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to build relationships with our students, staff, and community. I am a strong believer in Transparency, Visibility, and ensuring we as a school district work together to ensure we are providing the best opportunity for our students and families to be successful every day. This summer we have been working hard to ensure this school year starts off right and I look forward to meeting everyone over the coming months and look forward to a great year at Beggs Public Schools.
