Pre-K Families,
We are excited that we have been presented with an opportunity through the Waterford.org Upstart Program. Waterford is providing us a resource for our upcoming 4 year old PreK students this Fall of 2022. Each family will be provided with a computer, internet (if needed,) a family coach and their award winning software in the areas of Reading, Math and Science. Families will get to keep the computer IF the child completes the program. The child will need to be on this program for 5 days a week and only 15 minutes a day. This is a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to get your upcoming PreK 4 year olds students registered SOON by going to the website or calling the number on the flyer. GREAT opportunity! Don't miss out! See Ms. Brantley tonight on the Pre-K end for a sign up form!

New floors, new policies, new faces, and new safety measures too. Staff members have been working hard to make our buildings and classrooms safer our staff and students. Just another upgrade made possible with the passage of the bond issue.

New district cell phone policy adopted.

School-wide Preview Night will be Tuesday, August 16 from 5:30-7:30 pm for ALL students.
Preview Night Info for Beggs Elementary only-
HS and MS will continue preview night as normal but the Elementary is always very busy so please see the plan for BES:
Students will find out whose classrooms they are in at this time. We have nearly 440 BES students enrolled so to help with overcrowding within the building and classrooms, we ask that students with last names beginning with letters A thru L come from 5:30-6:30, and students with last names beginning with the letters M thru Z come inside from 6:30-7:30 pm. This helps the teachers to be able to meet and visit with each of you more efficiently! Our staff looks forward to meeting parents and students on preview night! It is also the perfect time to drop off school supplies for their classes. For the safety of our school, please remember no adults are allowed to walk students into the building, this includes the first day. We will have staff available to assist them in locating their classrooms. Make sure you look down during preview night and check out our new floors thanks to our Bond Issue our patrons passed!! THANK YOU!!!

Crews have been busy installing new interactive boards at all school sites this summer. Another great opportunity provided to our students by your YES vote on the bond issue.

New flooring is going down in the elementary building this week. The first of many planned renovations that will greet students when they return in August.

It was a packed house tonight watching the 1st grade musical! Great job kids! Amazing job Ms. Edelbrock!! Thank you all for coming!

Wonderful news 1st-grade families! We will perform the 1st-grade musical in the new auditorium tonight! Bring whoever and however many folks you want! Doors open at 6 pm and the musical starts at 6:30 pm. NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM. Thank you!

Thank you to folks listed for buying lunch for BES! It was delicious! Thank you to the ladies who picked up the orders and delivered them to us! It sure was appreciated today! Thank you!

As you know we are unable to have the 1st-grade play in the auditorium. We know our kids are excited to perform. We will reschedule the play to be in our BES stage in our cafeteria on Monday, May 9 at 9:30 am for BES and at 6:30 pm for families. With having 86 first graders we ask that only 2 adults accompany the 1st graders along with any siblings to the play that evening due to limited chairs and space. So sorry but we want them to be able to perform. We will FB live the morning performance on the Beggs Public School Facebook page. Thank you!

Beggs Public Schools plan to run all scheduled bus routes, but due to wash-outs we may not be able to complete all routes. Please be aware in the morning. Thank you and stay safe.

Be safe tonight!
