In an effort to they to take the pressure off of parents to be prepared for school after a lack of water all weekend, and to try to help the town recover, Beggs Public schools will be virtual tomorrow Monday November the 7th. Important change to our school calendar:
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18 has been changed to a PD day for all staff so NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS that day. Thank you!

dress up days to remember to be drug free!





Thanks to our BES counselor Ms. Long for coordinating our BE DRUG FREE Red Ribbon week! The students enjoyed their drug free lessons during lunch.





Beggs Public Schools faculty and students of all ages have been participating in Red Ribbon Week activities this week, including dressing up for theme days.
Silas Been, BES student, chose to dress as an old cowboy for "Drugs are Old School" day. BMS teacher Denise Gray celebrated "Wave Goodbye to Drugs" Hawaiian theme day. BHS staff members Mandy Been, Vickey Jones, and Rachel Tenison posed for Versus day at the high school. They represented a good vs a bad conscious.

Monday-”Wave Goodbye to Drugs”- Wear your favorite Hawaiian clothing
Tuesday- “Drugs are old school”- wear clothes from previous decades 50’s or 80’s and such
Wednesday- “Wacky Wednesday”- wear fun socks or mismatch, tacky looking clothes
Thursday-”Team Up Against Drugs”- Wear your favorite sports teams
Friday- “Be a Hero, Be Drug Zero” Dress like comic hero, or your personal hero, or your favorite school appropriate(NOT SCARY) Halloween costume.
You may also participate by simply wearing RED any or every day!!!!

🔥October is Fire Prevention Month🔥
Today the Okmulgee Fire Department came and talked to us about how to keep ourselves safe and having a plan on how to get out of our house in case of a fire.
They also talked about having 1 meeting place where every meets when the get out of the house fire.
