BES is so exited about this years Read-a-thon! We are so proud of our students and the support you are giving them! As of now, our students have read nearly 70,000 minutes!!! Way to go BES! Here are some photos of some items purchased with last years Read-a-thon fundraiser money. With the new floors that were installed last summer, the classrooms needed area rugs for the kids to sit on during story time or center time. We also purchased Chromebook carts, new library books, classroom furniture, classroom supplies, musical scripts, backdrops, costumes for our musicals, paint to brighten up classroom walls, new signage by the front entrance, prizes for students, along with many other items that the students or teachers need for their classrooms. We appreciate the participation for our Read-a-thon because it keeps our teachers from spending their own money. BES thanks you!!!

Beggs Elementary has decided to hold a Read-a-thon again this year!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our Read-a-thon starts Monday March 20, 2023. We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read & helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates. More information is being sent home today. Thanks so much,
Beggs Elementary
