Beggs Middle School Football Season Kicks Off Sept. 12

Benefit Announced for BHS Senior.

A big Golden Demon back-to-school welcome this morning at the high school as students entered.

Keeping the grounds of Beggs Public Schools looking nice will be much easier for our maintenance staff with the purchase of new equipment. Once again, these purchases were made possible with the passage of the bond issue last year.

Hotspot changes announced.

New floors, new policies, new faces, and new safety measures too. Staff members have been working hard to make our buildings and classrooms safer our staff and students. Just another upgrade made possible with the passage of the bond issue.

New district cell phone policy adopted.

School-wide Preview Night will be Tuesday, August 16 from 5:30-7:30 pm for ALL students. Preview Night Info for Beggs Elementary only- HS and MS will continue preview night as normal but the Elementary is always very busy so please see the plan for BES: Students will find out whose classrooms they are in at this time. We have nearly 440 BES students enrolled so to help with overcrowding within the building and classrooms, we ask that students with last names beginning with letters A thru L come from 5:30-6:30, and students with last names beginning with the letters M thru Z come inside from 6:30-7:30 pm. This helps the teachers to be able to meet and visit with each of you more efficiently! Our staff looks forward to meeting parents and students on preview night! It is also the perfect time to drop off school supplies for their classes. For the safety of our school, please remember no adults are allowed to walk students into the building, this includes the first day. We will have staff available to assist them in locating their classrooms. Make sure you look down during preview night and check out our new floors thanks to our Bond Issue our patrons passed!! THANK YOU!!!

The school buildings are going to look a little different this year when elementary and middle school students return in mid August. New flooring is being installed in both the elementary and middle school buildings, as well as the 5th and 6th grade dome. Just another change funded by your YES vote for the bond .

New flooring is going down in the elementary building this week. The first of many planned renovations that will greet students when they return in August.

Due to continued vandalism in the public restrooms at the walking trail, they will be closed until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No breakfast & lunch will be served today, Thursday June 2, the water is off. ALPHA will continue today because they leave and they have their sack lunches prepared. Ms. Roach is sending an Alpha message. Thank you!

Beggs Elementary is taking applications for a Kindergarten & 2nd grade teaching positions. Required Early Childhood certification for Kindergarten and Elementary Ed certification for 2nd grade. FREE SUMMER BREAKFAST & LUNCH! Just a reminder you can bring your kids up to BES for Free Breakfast & Lunch Monday-Thursday. Breakfast is from 7:30-8:30 am & lunch is 11:30-12:30 pm in the BES Cafeteria.
