I’m excited to begin my teaching career at Beggs Public Schools! I recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Political Science, and I couldn’t have picked a better community to start this journey.
I’ve been a proud member of the Okmulgee County community my whole life. I was the first Eagle Scout from Troop 102 and am an active member of the Knights of Columbus. At Okmulgee High School, I competed in speech and debate and was ranked among the top four in the state my senior year.
I’m passionate about education and civic engagement, which is why I chose to teach high school social studies. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and exploring new ways to learn. I also enjoy gaming and recently built a PC to help sharpen my skills as an esports coach.
I’m honored to be joining Beggs and excited for a great year with the students, staff, and families!

Hello Beggs!
I am excited to be given the opportunity to join the excellence of Beggs Public Schools. This is where I started my career 26 years ago. The Beggs community has excelled
academically and athletically in the recent past. I am thankful to be able to contribute to the success in the classroom and on the football field.
I graduated from Northeastern State University with a BA in Social Studies Education. I will be teaching Geography in the middle school and coaching football..
I have been married to my wife Christina for 30 years. We have two beautiful daughters and two
granddaughters. In my spare time I like to restore old farm equipment.

Hello Beggs,
My name is Jessica Driver this is my 3rd year at Beggs. This year I will be teaching in the middle school. I also will be assisting JH/HS fastpitch softball and Head Coach of JH/HS slow pitch softball. I am looking forward to working hard for the girls program.
In my spare time you will catch me at any sporting event with my husband Branden and our two boys Hunter and Fisher. I hope to see you all on bleachers cheering our girls on!!

Meet the head cheer coach for 2025-2026.

I’m heading into my 15th year in education. I graduated from Pioneer High School back in 2005 (Garfield County roots!), earned my bachelor’s from Northwestern Oklahoma State, and later picked up my master’s from Southwestern.
I’ve been married to my amazing wife Pamela since 2007. We’ve got two awesome boys — Boston, who’s a sophomore at Beggs, and little Bear, who’s 3 and keeps us on our toes.
One thing you might not know about me: our family loves road trips, especially if there’s a good food spot at the end of the drive. Always on the hunt for a hidden gem!
I’m super passionate about helping students grow — not just academically, but as people. For the 2025-26 school year, one of my goals is to help boost our students’ reading comprehension and continue building stronger connections between our school and the community.
Here’s to a great year ahead!

Congratulations Coach Shannon!
