Big night for our Beggs MS Esports teams! 🎮🔥 Both Fortnite teams went 2-0, Rocket League picked up a big win, and while Mario Kart took a tough loss, they still showed great effort and sportsmanship. Proud of every player for competing, improving, and representing us well. Let’s keep building! 💪🏆 Special thanks to Green Country Technology Center for letting us use their facilities.

Good day Beggs family! We hope you had an amazing spring break with your kiddos! After a lot of hard work and preparation the last two weeks, we will be able to resume school Monday March 23rd. Classes will look a little different for the Middle school, so middle school parents please be sure and attend the back to school meeting Saturday March 21st in the Elementary cafeteria at 6:30. With determination, organization, and some gracious friends we were able to get enough buses to be able to run our bus routes as normal. Thank you for your support and patience during this time. We are not finished with work by any means but we are ready for students to return! Once again thank you and it’s a great day to be a Golden Demon!

Beggs and community, thank you for reaching out and asking how you can help it is extremely appreciated! At this time we have a restoration crew on site and engineers. They have asked for us to help keep community and others away from the scene while it is still unsafe. There will be plenty of ways to help coming up in the near future. We will stay in communication and will let everyone know what the next steps are and where the help is needed. Thank you for your willingness and kindness it is not unnoticed but we are grateful! It’s a great day to be a Golden Demon.

💙📚 A Heartfelt Thank You! 📚💙 A HUGE thank you to Alpha Rho of Kappa Kappa Iota for their generous donation to the Beggs Public School Backpack Buddy Program! This incredible group, made up of retired educators from Beggs, Berryhill, Bixby, Jenks, and Union, continues to make a difference long after their years in the classroom. Their commitment to students and our community is truly inspiring. Because of their generosity, we will be able to provide additional support to Beggs students through our Backpack Buddy program. Your kindness is making a real impact in the lives of our kids — and we are so grateful! Thank you for continuing to pour into the next generation. 💛

A pair of Beggs Middle School students earned first and second place honors in the local VFW's Patriot's Pen essay contest. The annual contest is a competition for 6th-8th grade students to write a 300-400 word essay on a patriotic theme.

BMS winners were: Espn Blankenship, first place; and Ella Mudd ,second place. Each winner received a certificate, medal and a check.

The 2025-2026 theme was "How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?". Submissions were sent to the local VFW post by BMS English Teacher Ashleigh Callahan who had the students write the essays in her English class.

These local winners have an opportunity to move on to the regional ,state and even national levels.

We are proud of you Espn and Ella!

Beggs Middle School Academic Team ended their season today, going 2-2 against some really tough teams. Beggs, being seeded 5th to start their rounds. Round one loss against the number 3 seed Preston put us in the loser bracket right off the bat. We came back with a win in round two against the number 4 seed Prague to face the number 2 seeded team Grove out of Shawnee. That was a very exciting match as we were in a tie at the end of play with a sudden death question for the win. Beggs again had to face Preston on our fourth round, and unfortunately, we came up short. We ended our season with a 3rd place finish at Regionals. We have 4 of our players who will continue their play at the Tournament of Champions in April. Good luck to them.(D.Allen,D.Houser,Q.Lee and M Karbowski).
