In October, 5th grade students wrote letters to their favorite authors for Mrs. Buss’ English class. Evan wrote a letter to author Carl Deuker, telling him how much he enjoyed his book “Golden Arm”. Today he received a letter back with an autographed bookmark!

Students in agricultural education classes finished up their winter food drive this week. Items were collected for the Beggs Elementary School Backpack Buddy program. A total of 1,783 items were collected! A competition was held between hours to see who could donate the most items. 2nd hour took the top spot by donating 1,026 items! Thank you to those that contributed.

We are crocheting and had a contest to see who could make the longest chain. 3rd hour - Jesselee with 27' 8", Harlo with 19' 4". There was a tie for third place with Michael and Addie with 16' 9". 5th hour - Lexie with 23', Jasmine with 18', and Freddy with 15' 9". This is 7th hour. Wesley 30', Skyler 18' 10", Ryver 16' 9".
