Please continue to work on the rough draft of your opinion essay (Topic: The greatest invention in my daily life). Be sure that you have 5 paragraphs and follow the OREO outline (opinion, reason, example, opinion). Remember that a paragraph is a minimum of 5 sentences. If your essay is saved on google drive, and you can not access it, write some sentences that you could add to your essay on a separate piece of paper. Also complete your grammar packet on pronouns.

Read something for 30 min. It could be your library book, a few newspaper articles, a magazine or some children’s books to a younger family member. You can get creative with it! Then, write a 1 paragraph (minimum of 5 sentences) summary of the things you read and what you learned.

In an effort to they to take the pressure off of parents to be prepared for school after a lack of water all weekend, and to try to help the town recover, Beggs Public schools will be virtual tomorrow Monday November the 7th. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Due to no water Beggs Public Schools will not be in session tomorrow Friday Nov. 4th. We will have a virtual day the 18th to make up for tomorrow . Sorry for the inconvenience.

Student Council held their elections for the 2022-2023 8th grade class president. Congratulations to Taytum Mills for wining the election!

Beggs Public Schools faculty and students of all ages have been participating in Red Ribbon Week activities this week, including dressing up for theme days.
Silas Been, BES student, chose to dress as an old cowboy for "Drugs are Old School" day. BMS teacher Denise Gray celebrated "Wave Goodbye to Drugs" Hawaiian theme day. BHS staff members Mandy Been, Vickey Jones, and Rachel Tenison posed for Versus day at the high school. They represented a good vs a bad conscious.



Reminder that this Friday, 10/28/22 will be a fast Friday. Students will be released at 1:30 pm.
