My name is John Rozell, and I am excited to be a part of the Beggs Public Schools family! My wife Tiffany and I have been married for 23 years, and we have three kids. Our oldest, Tripp who is a junior at Beggs High School, and our twins, Tagg and Elliott, are sixth graders at Woodall.

Our family is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Beggs community, and I’m looking forward to a great school year. Go Demons!

My name is Calli Sparkman. I've been married to my husband for 26 years and we have a set of twins that are in their sophomore year. We enjoy watching our daughter play softball and our son play baseball.
I am so excited to be teaching at Beggs this year!

Transportation Update We want to thank our parents and students for their patience as we work through some transportation challenges during the first few days of school. We have had several substitute drivers and a few unexpected bus issues, which have caused some delays and confusion with routes. We are working closely with our transportation staff to get routes and drivers settled into a consistent routine as quickly as possible. We understand that changes and delays can be frustrating, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through these first few days. Our goal is to make sure all of our students get to and from school safely and efficiently. Thank you for your continued support and patience! We appreciate our Beggs families! 💛🖤

Kaylea Lawley BMS Agriculture Education Hi! My name is Kaylea Lawley, I’m from Haskell, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State in December with my Agricultural Education degree. I am excited to be at Beggs, and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Kaleel Shumate BES/BMS/BHS My name is Kaleel Shumate, and I am excited to begin another school year as an Elementary Paraprofessional at Beggs Public Schools! This will be my second year serving as a paraprofessional, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue working with and supporting our students. I graduated from Missouri State University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Film and Television Production and a minor in Athletic Training Care. In addition to my role in the classroom, I will also be coaching 5th and 6th grade boys basketball, serving as an Assistant Coach for the High School Boys Basketball Team, and helping the Beggs Football Team as a Film Coach. This will also be my second year coaching, and I’m looking forward to another great season. I am truly proud to be a part of the Beggs community and can’t wait to meet new students, build relationships with families, and do everything I can to help our kids succeed both in the classroom and in athletics. I’m looking forward to an amazing year. Go Demons! 🖤💛

Julie Remington BES/BMS Special Education 5th and 6th Grade ELA Hello! My name is Julie Remington, and I'm excited about joining the special education program at Beggs! I'm looking forward to starting my 22nd year in education. I have a daughter, Remi, who attends the University of Tulsa. I enjoy spending time with her, reading, watching movies, and eating out. I'm excited to meet my students very soon!

Abby Bowman BMS 6th/7th Science Hi there! This is Abby Bowman! I’m so excited to be at Beggs this year. A little about me, I’m an Oklahoma state alumni where I met my college sweetheart, my husband Trevor of 8 years. We have a daughter named Elizabeth who is 6. In my free time i enjoy spending time with my family including our 2 dogs, reading, and playing softball. Welcome to Beggs Mrs. Bowman!

2026-27 Online Enrollment is now open for 6th-12th grades! This is for new and returning students. Parents will need to login to their Sylogist account and use the Student Records Portal to complete enrollment for their students. oked.sylogist.com/Beggs
If you do not have a Sylogist account, go to the Sylogist login page and choose the "Request an Account" option.
As a reminder, summer office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am-2pm, please call if you have questions or need assistance with the enrollment process.

Medication Pickup Reminder


As the school year comes to an end, please remember that all medication must be picked up by an adult before 3:00 pm on the last day of school (May 14, 2026). Medication will NOT be sent home with students. Medication will not be stored over the summer. Any medication remaining after the pickup deadline will be properly destroyed according to district policy and state law. A new Medication Authorization Form will need to be filled out for each medication at the beginning of every school year in order for medication to be administered at school. Please refer to the district’s Medication Procedures if you have any questions. Medication Authorization forms are available on the district website as well as in each building office.
