Mrs. George's 2nd graders created beautiful Christmas trees using tear art. Each one came out beautifully!

Good afternoon! Beggs Public Schools would like to wish everyone an early Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Our gift to the students this year will be an early dismissal time of 1:30 on Friday December 20th. We hope you have amazing family time, and we will see everyone next year.

Be sure and watch Channel 6 at 5 pm today to see BES 3rd graders caroling and delivering wreaths in Beggs! Way to go BES!

BES Pre-K Cheetahs, Otters and OWLs had a fun time delivering wreaths and singing carols to downtown businesses today.

Mrs. Newell's class worked together using measurement skills and tools to measure the length of our classroom. This number was then used to try and estimate the length of a hallway.

Thanksgiving Break

Happy Thanksgiving from the BES
Pre-K OWLs!

At BES we are very thankful for the Storylady aka Zandra Christy for coming and sharing her love of reading with our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First grade classes!

Beggs Pre-K "turkeys" thank the BES lunch ladies for our delicious Thanksgiving lunch!

Many thanks to the new Beggs Dollar General on highway 75 and the Beggs 2005 graduate DG manager Joey Blocker for donating 100 books to BES!! It was so nice to receive the books and visit with Joey! He recalled many retired elementary teachers he had that are dear to his heart Ms. Howard, Ms. Crenshaw, and Ms. Colbert. Joey stated he gives Beggs teachers a lot of credit for his success. When we got to school and opened the box we were super excited, many of the books were on Ms. Grimmett's wish list. The donation saved BES over $2000. Thank you Joey and Dollar General! We appreciate it! Our student are excited about their new books! @DollarGeneral

3rd grade had a fun Election Day!! 🇺🇸

4th graders had a tough choice to make in their GREAT COOKIE ELECTION on Tuesday...
Oreo... or Chips Ahoy?
Students signed in, received their ballot, & had their right to privacy while casting their vote.
Wednesday, results were revealed... and OREO won the election! They were consumed too quickly to get any pictures. 😂

4th graders playing "Remainders Wanted- A Long Division Game" today in Ms. Galindo's class.
The rules are simple- pick a number on the game board, roll the die. Divide those 2 numbers. Your remainder is the points you get. No remainder? No points! The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
They had fun and some groups even played twice! 💛🖤

BES 4th graders took a trip to the Tulsa PAC to see Charlotte's Web! We were so excited about the front section seats... right in the middle of the action!
🕷️🕸️🐷💙
"You have been my friend... that in itself is a tremendous thing."
