Middle school announces supply lists for 2022-2023 school year.
The middle school 5th -7th grade awards assembly and 8th grade celebration tomorrow, 5/10/22 will be held in the new band dome at 1:00 pm.
Beggs Public Schools plan to run all scheduled bus routes, but due to wash-outs we may not be able to complete all routes. Please be aware in the morning. Thank you and stay safe.

The last day of ALPHA is this Thursday, 5/5/22, but the Alpha bus will NOT be running. We have no driver. If your child stays Thursday, they MUST be picked up at 5:30 p.m.

ALPHA has been cancelled today, 5/2/22 due to possible bad weather.
Due to bad weather expected this evening there will not be the middle school band concert tonight.
Instead, we will have a virtual concert!
We will video the students performing their concert music today during class and post it on the school website and social media. for parents to watch.
Again, no band concert tonight due to bad weather.
Beggs Middle School is taking applications for a middle school history certified teacher. Certificates can be in history or elementary education. Please send copy of teaching certificate and a resume to Kenny Hurst at khurst@beggs.k12.ok.us

Congratulations to the BMS Baseball Team on their Runner-Up finish in the Checotah Baseball Tournament. They finished behind the host Wildcats by a narrow margin. The BMS team is coached by Tyler Blizzard and Preston King.

Our Beggs Middle School Teacher of the Year is Denise Gray. The Beggs Middle School support staff member of the year is Sandy Pittinger. Congratulations to both!!!!
Beggs Middle School will be taking the state test starting on 4/21/22 and ending on 5/4/22. We take up cell phones and turn them off while the student is testing. If your child does not have a need to have their cell phone at school we would ask that from 4/21/22 to 5/4/22 if they would not bring them to school. Thank you for your help.
