Senior Athletes Honored

Beggs High School senior athletes were honored before the home basketball games versus Morris this week. 

In case you missed it, we are sharing some photos of the event and information on those seniors and their bios.

Those participating with their families were: 

 Senior Girl Basketball Players:

 Senior:  Heiress Hicks

Daughter of:  Cherokee Bell and Randall Hicks

High School Activities are:    basketball for four(4) years

Education/Career Goals are:   to go to college and become a dermatologist and work with Botox.

 Senior:  Ashiyah Lewis

Daughter of:   Brandy Lewis.  Ashiyah is also being escorted by her cousin, Jaslin Brooks.

High School Activities are:    Basketball, Track, and NHS

Education/Career Goals are:    to attend college at OSUIT in the nursing program to become an RN and then further her education in the medical field

 Our senior trainer for girls’ basketball is:

 Senior:  Kaisha Grayson

Daughter of:   Sharkeya Freeman

High School Activities are:    basketball manager for 2 years, track for 3 years, and a member of math club

Education/Career Goals are:  to go to college to become an RN

 SENIOR TRAINERS FOR BOYS BASKETBALL is our next group:

 Senior:  Haylee Chisum

Daughter of:   Chad and Tiffany Chisum and Cody and Lisa George

High School Activities are:    Golf for four years, football trainer for three years, basketball manager for three years, NHS for three years, and a member of NTHS

Education/Career Goals are:   to go to finish her basics at OSUIT and proceed to go to college to become a dental hygienist

 Senior:   Brooklyn Watkins

Daughter of:   Kathy Shelby and Dion Cottrell, and Derrick and Joy Watkins

High School Activities have been:  Band, Basketball, Softball, Basketball Trainer, and the Green Country Health Science Program

Education/Career Goals are: to finish her concurrent courses at OSUIT then attend the University of Central Oklahoma for their respiratory therapist program

Son of:   Yvonne and Aaron Butler

High School Activities are:   Football and Basketball

Education/Career Goals are:    to attend college to pursue a zoology degree, play football at Eastern Michigan University, and obtain a Master’s degree in Mopar to become an entrepreneur

 Senior:    Kyron Grayson

Son of:   Ron and Kandi Grayson

High school Activities are: Basketball for four years and Football for four years.

Education/Career Goals are:   to go to the University of Tulsa to play football and get his degree

 Senior:    Caleb Parker

Son of:   Leroy and Denise Parker

High School Activities are:  basketball for four years, football for one year, and track for one year

Educational/ Career goals are: to go to college to pursue a degree in physical therapy

 SENIOR CHEERLEADERS is our next group:

Senior:   Morgan Busby

Daughter of:   Shane and Karen Busby

High School activities have been: fast-pitch softball for four years, slow-pitch softball for four years, Cheerleading for two years, FFA for two years, and NHS for one year

Education/Career goals are:  to attend nursing school at Oklahoma State University to become a pediatric nurse

 Senior:   Lynley Hudson

Daughter of:   Brian and Kristin Hudson.  Lynley is also being escorted by her sisters, Libby and Laney Hudson.

High School Activities have been:    Student Council for four(4) years and President of Student Council her senior year, class officer for three(3) years, Junior Class President, President of BPA for two(2) years, Cheerleading for four(4) years, Drum-Major for two(2) years, Band for eight(8) years, Jazz band for three(3) years, NHS, Math Club for four(4) years, and competitive dance for thirteen(13) years

Education/Career Goals are:  go to college and become a physical therapist

 OUR SENIOR TRACK GIRL IS Olivia Tate:

 Seniors: Autumn and Summer Lester 

Daughters of:   Dallas Lester

High School Activities are:   Cross Country and Track. 

Education/Career Goals are:  that they both want to compete at collegiate level in track while they pursue Business degrees.  They hope to build and own their own businesses.

 Senior:    Olivia Tate

Daughter of:   Rodney and Pamela Tate

High School Activities are:    Track and Field for four years, Band for four years, Student Council, and Senior Class Vice President

Education/Career Goals are:  to run track at OBU and major in accounting to become either a human resource manager or accounting manager

Education/Career Goals are:   to continue with dog showing and breeding while studying at OSUIT

High school Activities are:  Football, Weightlifting, and Shop

Education/Career Goals are: to go to college and just keep on keeping on

 Senior:   Charles Mason

Son of:   Alfred and Nancy Mason 

High School Activities are:   Track for four years, Thrower for track and field for four years, Football for four years and Indian Ed for four years

Education/Career Goals are:   go to college to get a degree in Architectural Engineering and become the world record holder for shot put

Daughter of:   Kenyatta and Deborah Daniels

High School Activities are:    Golf, Basketball, Track team, Band and Jazz Band

Education/Career Goals are:  to attend UCO and obtain a degree in Forensic Science

Senior:  Ainsley Jayde Deckard

Daughter of:  Mark and Tessa Deckard

High School Activities are:  Golf, Track, FFA, Tennis, and HOSA

Education/Career Goals are:  to go to OSU and get her bachelor’s degree to have a career in radiology

Education/Career Goals are:   attend a trade school to obtain his certification in either electrical or heat and air.
