Beggs High School's National Honor Society Chapter inducted 17 new members last night during ceremonies held in the performing arts center.
As part of the ceremony, four young ladies were also introduced as officers for the 2021-2022 school year. They include: Sydney Byers, president; Kaitlin Brafford, vice-president; Alexis Hendrix, secretary; and Lynley Hudson, historian.
Students induced were Madison Neal, Morgan Busby, Alexsus Hancock, k"Leigh Morris, Taylor Christy, Kirsten Dooly, Abigial Hinkley, Rylee Kouplen, Cassidy Lamborn, Jessica Layva-Munoz, Cali Carter, Libby Hudson, Mekusapv Martel, Macey McCoy, Lauren O'Malley, Hallee Sumner and Jackson Siegenthaler.
Autumn Caldwell, BHS principal, addressed the group at the closing of the ceremony; while NHS Advisor, Stacey Horton, opened the ceremony.
Several current Beggs High School NHS members were in attendance to support the new members.
