Beggs senior runner Jeremiah Hughes earned his second straight medal in cross country this weekend.
Hughes finished first in the 5K at the Oilton Cross Country Meet bringing home the top medal in the boys competition.
His time of 19:03 was the best, just ahead of the Oilton and Earlsboro runners.
Hughes has competed in cross country at Beggs High School for all 4 years of high school and earned multiple medals during his career.
He is coached by Coach RodneyTate.
