Sam Viersen Family Foundation Scholarship

The Sam Viersen Family Foundation Scholarship, a component Fund of Tulsa Community Foundation, is available for high school seniors graduating from a high school in Okmulgee County.    Applicant must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and a minimum ACT score of 24.  In addition, applicant must plan to attend an accredited university, enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester (fall and spring) and maintain a cumulative 3.0 while in college.  The scholarship award is $12,000 per semester and renewable for up to three consecutive years.  (2020 Application Deadline:  April 10, 2020) 2020 Sam Viersen Family Foundation Scholarship

Cowboy Concurrent Online

Free for Oklahoma Seniors

Oklahoma high school seniors who are eligible for concurrent enrollment at Oklahoma State University will receive FREE* tuition and fees.

Oklahoma juniors receive a reduced rate of $400 per course to take a Cowboy Concurrent Online course. Out-of-state high school students will pay $300 per credit hour, or $900 for a 3-credit hour course.

* Only Oklahoma seniors who are eligible for concurrent enrollment can take Cowboy Concurrent Online courses for FREE thanks to the tuition waiver from the state and fee waiver from OSU. The reduced rates apply to the Cowboy Concurrent Online classes only.To enroll in Cowboy Concurrent Online, students must apply to OSU. Minuteman Scholarship
The Minuteman Scholarship, introduced in 2015, pays full (uncapped) tuition and fees or $10,000 toward room and board at any college or university served by an Army ROTC program. It comes in one-, two-, three- and four-year varieties and will pay the full tuition and fees at Norwich. Then, Norwich’s ID White Scholarship covers the room and board.

OROS Scholarship The scholarship will be awarded annually to one graduating high school senior from each quadrant (as classified by OROS) in the state of Oklahoma.Each recipient will receive a one-time cash scholarship of $500.00, to be used by the student to help defray the costs of post-secondary education and related expenses.OROS SCHOLARSHIP FORM

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards partner with dedicated individuals, foundations, and corporations to offer creative challenges and scholarship opportunities to students:

Best-in-Grade Award  :  The Best-in-Grade Award, sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies, provides 24 students (two artists and two writers per grade 7–12) with $500 scholarships.
