Free Education
All Children have the right to a free and appropriate education. This is mandated by Public Law 94-142. This federal law provides for all handicapped children from birth to age 21 who may be in need of special education services.
This may include chidren who are:  Mentally Handicapped
                                             Learning Disabled
                                             Hearing Impaired
                                             Blind or Partially Sighted
                                             Emotionally Disturbed
                                             Speech or Language Handicapped
                                             Physically Disabled
Beggs Public Schools are interested in locating and identifying handicapped children who are not currently receiving services. We offer such services as: Educational and Psychological Evaluations, Counseling, Speech and Language Evaluations in addition to basic services provided by the schools. All services are provided at NO COST to the parent.
